The Division of Diagnostic Sciences focuses on oral radiology and oral pathology, combining basic science and general dentistry to diagnose and treat oral diseases. The Comprehensive Oral Health Division works with multiple specialties to ensure patients receive the best care possible. The Division of Craniofacial and Surgical Care offers a diverse approach to treating patients with craniofacial or oral and maxillofacial conditions.

The Division of Oral and Craniofacial Health Sciences includes visiting professors, research fellows, and academics who generate new knowledge in basic, applied, and clinical sciences. The Department of Developmental Surgical Sciences & uses a multidisciplinary approach to evaluate and treat diseases or conditions of the oral and maxillofacial regions, tooth support tissues, malocclusion, and pediatric patients. The Department of Diagnostic Biological Sciences & strives to be an academic center of excellence in oral medicine, diagnosis, pathology, and patient care. The Department of Primary Dental Care uses a multidisciplinary approach to emphasize professional practice issues, public health, policy issues, and comprehensive general dental and dental hygiene care.

The Department of Advanced Oral Sciences and Therapeutics brings together clinical and scientific expertise in endodontics, periodontics, dental hygiene, prosthodontics, biomaterials, and tissue engineering. The Department of General Dentistry educates students to practice dentistry by teaching them how to manage and provide high-quality dental care. The Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program provides advanced training beyond predoctoral education in a dental school.
